Light Moment with Mocha

Got this video of Mocha from Youtube, a 13 days old dwarf hamster at the time of shooting, enjoying his (should be) first Broccoli meal. Look at how he is enjoying a simple meal on his owner's hand. "A simple life can be a blessing"

What happens to good people when bad things happen to them?

A true experience from the "Be happy Attitudes" By Robert H. Schuller.

Art Linkletter delighful way of looking at American life had brought joy and laughter into everyone lifes. But when you look beyond Art's wit and optimism you see a man who has turned his cross into a commission - a commitment to reach the lives of young people who are ensnared in the deathtrap of drugs. All of this grew out of his daughter's tragic death as a result of drugs and his son's death in an automobile accident.

Schuller: "Art, how do you turn a tragedy into a personal triumph?"

Art (in his warm, wise and loving manner): "The most difficult thing is to admit the tragedy, to accept it. It is something in your life over which you had no control,................. Having once admitted and accepted the deep, deep pain of wound, then you begin to realize that you have expanded your own capability of loving and caring for others. Until you are hurt, you can never truly understand the hurts of others. Until you have failed, you can not truly achieve success. In my own case, the pain in my life started me on a crusade against drug abuse - trying to help young people and families."

People facing tragedy or failure suddenly take a new look at their whole life. Their whole perspective changes. Some of the things they had thought were so precious don't seem to mean much anymore. Some of the treasures they valued so highly don't seem valuable anymore. Their value system changes. When you value system changes, your heart changes, your mood changes, your mind changes. Your life and your relationships change.

So, what happens to good people when bad things happen to them?
They become BETTER person, simple as that......
But it is the process of turning them into a better person makes them extraordinary.

You choose what you become to be...

Your choice makes you who you are! How true is this statement and I have just experienced it in the earlier of the day. Whether it is a cloudy or sunny day, you are responsible to make your own day.

Chocolate Indulgence at Fullerton Hotel

This is definitely the most expensive buffet I have eaten for the past twenty over years. Just a chocolate spread cost me over $37 and how can I not take some photos for remembrance!

Look at the exquisite spread of buffet from chocolate mousse, chocolate tiramisu, chocolate fondue to different bitterness level of chocolate drink which is made on the spot when you order. This is definitely a heaven for chocolate lover like me. Take a look at the raspberry chocolate mousse with a sprinkle of gold above. Wow.....

Fondue with selection of mashmallow of different fruitty flavours, stick biscuit, strawberries and puffs which go heavenly with the chocolate dip.

Different type of chocolate arranged in ascending order of bitterness level. These are to be made into chocolate drink. Rich and Creamy .........Slurps..

Different variety of chocolate cakes.
A word of caution if going for this chocolate buffet. Skip dinner before going.

Shopping Spree at Kuala Lumpur

The next destination after Cameron was Kuala Lumpur and again, I had to endure a 4 hour travelling on a coach to the KL. This trip to KL was more of a shopping rendevous for my family. After checking into the hotel, we unloaded our belongings and dashed straight to the nearby Berjaya Times Square and neighbouring shopping complex to start our spree. I bought mainly books by Napoleon Hill and some postcards which are relatively cheap.

I have yet to read the books because I am half way done with the book on Dale Carnegie on How To Win Friends & Influence People. I bought the Unabriged Original Version which is not commonly found.

In KL, there were many interesting items which really captured my attention. Below are a few which I took it secretly without the shop attendant's notice.

This is actually a toothpick holder which is ingeniously made into a porcupine with holes around its body contour to hold toothpicks. A clever way of design and functional incoporation.

Where do you think this place is from the above pic? No! This is not a supermarket. These fruits and vegetables are actually miniature with size not bigger than 2 cm in length. It looks so real and fresh.

My trip to Cameron Highland

Finally after a hectic May of rushing through assignments and reports, I had a good break going for a short trip to our neighouring country, Malaysia. I set off last Saturday (9th June)night and I reached Cameron Highlands on 10 Jun morning and I was greeted by the scenic view and simple lifestyle of this 30,000 people population town while travelling along the way up to the hotel. The hotel was situated >5000m above sea level and it took the bus 1 hour plus to reach the hotel from the foot of Cameron.

We planned for only a night stay in Cameron and we had quite a packed program to stick to in Cameron. Upon arrival, we deposited our belongings in the hotel and began our day tour. We bought a tour package for the whole day and we were brought to the BOH tea plantation and the summit of Cameron for the morning package.

Summit

The afternoon trip was more of a agricultural tour where we were brought to their famous vegetable plantation, chrysanthemum nursery, popular strawberry farm and the exotic cactus farm. We tried their lovers fruits which always come in pair (that is the reason for its name), another fruit which taste like honeydew and their very popular and extremely sweet Jargon (i.e. corn). We ate it raw.

Strawberry Farm

Cactus Farm

This ends the trip for the day and the next morning 11th Jun, we woke up in the wee hours to catch the sunrise. We were tired but excited along the 15 minutes ride up to the summit. It was pitch dark when we reached the summit which is >7000m above sea level and the temperature was freezingly cold but the tour guide said it was not the coldest that day. At around 7.02am, the sun rose from the horizon and the view was simply awesome. You can watch the video on the previous post. After capturing the sunrise, we rushed back to the hotel and had a quick breakfast before leaving for Kuala Lumpur.

I was away for holiday and one of my stop is Cameron Highland. It was awesome at Cameron Highland where I got to enjoy the scenic view of the country side and the sunrise at the summit of Cameron. Ok, enough on me. Sit back and enjoy the very moment which I have taken live on that day.

Same Company, Same Benefits, But Two Outcomes!

Jerry joins a network marketing company and says . . .

"Wow this business looks great! I can't believe how great this product is. I never knew it existed until that day I chanced upon it online. Ever since that day I become a different person. The team I am in is fantastic and I can't wait to learn what they are going to teach me. This business is going to change my life and my sponsor is teaching me things I never knew. I set a goal to cover both my mortgage and car loans with this business and I gave my word not only to myself, but to my sponsor as well. I know it is going to turn out well for me and as far as I'm concerned, I will work diligently to my success. It's only a matter of time."

Tom joins the same network marketing company and says . . .

"This company looks pretty good, but the last time I gave a similar one a shot and it didn't work. I'm only going to give this company two months' period. If I'm not making at least $1000 a month, I'm out of here. I think my sponsor said something about a co-op. I'm gonna join and if that doesn't grow my business then I'll know. I think this stuff can work. I mean, I've seen it work for so many other people, but they all get up on stage and bring prospects to those business calls, I've done that before and I'm not doing it again. I've only got 4 hours to spare a week and if this business doesn't grow with that sort of time, you won't see me around here in a month. I can promise you that. They say anyone can make it happen, yeah right . . ."

Six months later . . .

Jerry is earning double from what he had promised on the first day, more than sufficient to cover his mortage and car loans. And Tom has moved on to three more network marketing companies and hasn't made a dime yet. You wonder why? It is not the product, not the compensation plan of the company, not the sponsor. What could be the problem?

It's your belief system. Where you set it is exactly where you go. Where you go is exactly how people see you. Believe big in yourself and bigger things than you thought would happen. However, if you have little belief in yourself, nothing will happen. It's your choice. What do you believe in an online business? Are you going to make it happen or make sure it doesn't? It all boils down to how you think. To be honest, if you believe big, you'll reach your goals, and you'll get there even faster if you know a few secrets to achieve your goals faster.

Here is where you'll find a business and many secrets to reach your success, the question is . . . will you be like Jerry or Tom?

What's so good about Generator Software’s eBook Generator

eBook Generator is a very useful piece of software created by Armand Morin’s company Generator Software. The software not only walks you through the steps to creating your very own eBook, but it compiles everything for you in a very professional finished product.

This product has been at the top of it’s category for years and it’s easy to understand why. The layout and structure of this software make creating your eBook a snap. It’s great for anyone looking to create a smart and professional eBook complete with your own graphics (you can customize the whole thing). In addition, you can save your layout as “templates” so that you don’t have to start from scratch the second time around.

Features like internet linking, password protection, eBook search as well as the having the ability to add multimedia files within the eBook, offer free trials, restrict access to certain areas of the eBook and so many others make eBook Generator the leader when it comes to eBook creation.

It also has an amazing security feature which virtually eliminates the chance of someone stealing your eBook as well as a full tracking system so that you can see when and how often your customers are reading your material.

One thing to watch for is the format that it uses after creating your eBook. It turns your ebook into an EXE file which is harder to send through email. However, with all the additional features that are available because it is in a EXE file, eBook Generator becomes a no brainer. My recommendation is to simply create a download page for your customers to retrieve your eBook instead of sending the eBook through email.

If you are looking for a way to compile your information into an eBook format then eBook Generator should be at the top of your list. Dollar for dollar, this is by far the best product on the market and the one thing that I like about all Generator Software products is they have a full-time support staff. So if you have questions, you can always get answers.
